I used Shelby's expertise and determination to help me train and complete my first marathon. I didn't think I could run a full marathon but she not only helped me achieve my goal, but helped me achieve it in a time I didn't think was possible. Two years later I used her again when I wanted to run the same race under 4 hours. Throughout the race she kept me on pace and pushed me when I wanted to settle for less. To me a 3:59 finish time would have counted for "under 4 hours". But she knew more was possible and I finished at 3:53. Not only did I crush my goal, but I had shaved 13 minutes off the time I ran 2 years before. Shelby is an ambitious, driven and dedicated athlete that will help you achieve all your running goals.

A few years ago Shelby helped me prepare to run my first 5k. She helped me understand the fundamentals of running safely and prepared a training schedule that allowed me to achieve my goal. She also provided guidance on proper attire which was really helpful for a novice. Shelby gave me the confidence I needed to show up the day of the race and feel very prepared. This positive experience training with Shelby also inspired me to run a relay race the next year and I far exceeded the distance I ever thought I would be able to run. I am very thankful I hired her as my running coach and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to run a 5k for the first time or take their ability to the next level.

It had been almost 20 years since I had run a 5k! Shelby’s program was great!

She started us out slowly and she always made me feel comfortable going at my own pace. Her system builds slowly but before I knew it I was able to run 3 miles! I was so pleased with my progress and was able to complete a 5k right after completing the program. Shelby is patient, kind and meets you where you are with your fitness level. Shelby's style is motivating and encouraging, which I appreciated as someone new to running. I competed in my first 5K a few years ago thanks in part to Shelby.
